The Healing Energy Power of Yoga
Prana-Dharana Workshop

Join Shivaraj (Doug Greene) in an exploration into the ancient art of Yoga Energy Healing called Prana Dharana. Prana = Universal Intelligent Life Force Energy. Dharana = Concentration. Prana Dharana = Concentration of Life Force Energy. By concentrating your energy on a "limb", "organ" or "emotional disturbance" this technique can allow Prana to flow directly to it and enable healing to manifest according to the intelligence of this sacred energy. The Trishiki Brahmana Upanishad, an ancient text from the Vedic Period in India first mentioned this technique. Doug has invested much time into researching and practicing this ancient technique and has dedicated this unique workshop to you and your own healing.

The Healing Power of Yoga: Learn the Prana-Dharana Technique
March 28th
Prana is the Energy of the Universe... Here is your opportunity to tap in... Everyone has something that needs to be healed. For example, you may have a pulled hamstring muscle, or an emotional issue causing you distress. This workshop, back by popular demand, is designed to impart to you very ancient and specific guidelines and practices that will assist you in "directing the Life Force Energy" to your area of concern to initiate the healing process. Anyone can attend, but class size is limited to 25. You won't have to discuss your area of concern with anyone - just come, learn and practice. No prior experience with Yoga is required. Wear loose clothing and arrive with an open mind. Bring a soft cushion to sit on, and some water.

Back and Neck Care Basics

Learn the techniques perfected by the ancient Yogis to cure and prevent back and neck pain. This workshop is for anyone experiencing stiffness and pain anywhere in the back or neck. The Yogis of ancient India discovered how to employ gentle repetitive movements and breath to alleviate these discomforts. You can do the same, but first you need to come and learn the techniques. If you have serious back issues, please consult your Doctor before attending.

The 8 Essential Yoga Postures

Learn (or enhance what you already know) the basic 8 Essential Yoga Asanas (postures) to form the foundation for your own individual practice, or to boost your confidence when you attend your weekly Yoga classes! Tibetan Heart Yoga

Learn and practice the "Yoga of the Dalai Lamas", as taught to the Tibetans in the middle ages by the Yogis of India. This is a heart-based Yoga practice that, once learned, takes about 30 minutes. It involves opening the loving-kindness of the human heart, developing compassion toward others who are suffering, and living your Yoga all day, every day - not just on the mat in class. There is an emphasis on opening the flow of energy in and around the Heart Chakra by removing blocks and resistance. Highly recommended!

Prana Dharana for Self-Healing

This ancient technique first appeared in the Upanishads, the sacred writings of Ancient India. Prana means "Universal intelligent life-force energy", and Dharana means "concentration". By learning to direct the Prana with your own concentration, you can send healing to any physical body part, any emotional/mental issue. We will learn this technique together, first by becoming totally relaxed using Yoga breathing and stretching, and then by focusing the mind using several specific Yogic techniques.
